Accordin g to the Census, Alaska has the highest rate ofinternet use, with 76.1 percent of its resident s having access to the internetg at any location, followed by New Hampshire (74.6 and Washington (73.4 percent). Mississippi has the lowesr internet-usage rate (51.5 percent), followed by West Virginiaw (52.9 percent). The national average is 62.4 percent The Censuse said that 75.7 percent of Washingto residents have access to the interne attheir homes, which is thire again behind New Hampshire (82.6) and Alasks (78.5) percent, and well above the national averagd of 67.1 percent.

The results helpeed shape planning for all aspectsx ofthe business, owned by Atlanta-based Wendy’s/Arby’s Group Inc., includint Wendy’s once-heralded new-product development pipeline that had lost its pizzazzx in recent years. “We didn’t have a discipline d testing process,” said Chief Marketing OfficefrKen Calwell. “We’ve rebuilt it.” The resulft is a company-record 14 products in testing.

The class-action case centered on BofA’s collectinh check overdraft and other fees by taking moneyfrom direct-deposig accounts set up to receive Social Security In 2004, a jury found BofA’s actionx violated California banking laws that prohibift banks from taking Social Security benefitw to recover customer debts. But in the 1st District Courtr of Appeal in San Francisco ruledBofA didn’t breach state banking laws. The appeals court said the lawsuift misapplied a 1974 California Supreme Court decision that prohibits bankes from using public funds deposited into an account to pay thebank customer’se separate credit-card account.
