His resignation becomes effectiveJuly 3. Dinallo has been superintendenft ofthe state’s Insurance Department sincwe 2007. Gov. David Paterson said Dinallo hasbeen “ a stalwarty advocate for New Yorkers, a trusted adviser to me and my administration and a committe d public servant.” The governor said he and Dinalloo worked closely with the U.S. Treasury Department, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and othersw in the rescue of financial service sgiant . “Under Superintendent Dinallo’s leadership, the department effectuatedc the largest regulatory settlementt inthe U.S.
