Manpower: Employment outlook unchanged in Q3 - Orlando Business Journal:

"Employer attitudes about hiring remain essentially unchanged compared to thepreviou quarter," Manpower Chairman and CEO Jeffre y A. Joerres said. "While the numbers may not be as optimisticx as wewould like, it is positive to see no furtherd deterioration." Of the more than 28,000 employer surveyed, 15 percent expect to increase their staff levelse in the third quarter, while 13 percenrt expect a decrease in their Sixty-seven percent of employers surveyer expect no change in theire July-to-September hiring plans, and 5 percent said they were undecided.
The nationaol survey data shows employers in sevehn of the 13 sectors surveyed expect hirinvg to remain relatively stable in the third compared to the second Employer optimism about hiring is relativelty stable inthe South, Northeast and but weaker in the West.
