Britain-baser Chelton also said Wednesday it has been selected to supply mINCANS Interferences Cancellation Systems and communication antennaxs to the UnitedStatesd Army. Those two separate deals with the Army areworth $1 million.
The mINCANS Interference Cancellation technology is used to maintai signal integrity ina high-interference Chelton's Cobham Avionics group design s and supplies antennas, aircrafr communication and navigation equipment, microwave radomes and composite structures for the defense, homeland security, search and rescue and communications The Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA) is basedx in Chicago. Its integrated defense systems unit has majord operations inSouthern California. The commercial airplanes group, based in Wash., is the second-largest employer in Long Beach. Boeingv employs more than 35,000 peoplew statewide. Also announced Wednesday, Merrimax Industries Inc.
(AMEX: MRM), said it has gotten $1.3 milliomn order from Boeing's Integrated Defense Systems in Huntington Beacu to supply Beamforming Networkszand RF/ Microwave signal processinb components on Boeing's Global Positioning System IIF Boeing exercised its second contract optionn for Merrimac to provide additional signapl processing components on Space Vehicles 7, 8, and 9. Under a contracgt awarded by the U.S. Air Boeing is currently building the thirdx group of GPSIIF satellites, with a potentia total of up to 12 satellites. Today's ordet is part of the contract from Boeing estimated toreach $4.4 million that Merrimac announcecd in Sept. 2003.
