Best Buy starts selling used video games at Texas stores - Puget Sound Business Journal (Seattle):

The Richfield-based consumer electronics retailer this week began testinhg used game kiosks at several of its storesa in Dallasand Austin, Texas, according to a postinv on Best Buy Chief Marketingh Officer Barry Judge’s blog. Customers can insertg their used games intothe kiosks, which will scan it for then immediately issue a voucher redeemablde for a Best Buy gift card. “It’s a prettu slick system and one of thefew trade-inb programs to provide instant gratification; you get the gift card on the spot and can redeekm it on anything in the store not just another game,” Judge wrote on his Best Buy (NYSE: BBY) also will test the sale of used gamesa at the stores testing the kiosks, and some of the kioskz also will rent games and The nation’s largest used-game retailer, Texas-based (NYSE: GME), reported $8.
